A message from Tim Bedner:

I don't know who first said that, but I believe it. This is how I approach each guitar student in my studio. Keeping in mind each individual's stated musical goals, I help create a realistic plan of study. Each valuable meeting gives students tools and techniques to help them gain mastery of their instrument.

I don't just teach 'tricks and licks'. Students receive handouts about theory and harmony, organization of the guitar, and practice tips, and more. A written outline from each lesson helps students synthesize the information and make the most of their practice sessions at home. Over time, each student builds a personal journal of their growth as a guitarist.

Students also receive positive encouragement with an emphasis on developing time management skills to achieve their desired musical goals.
